Painted Linoleum!

Here's a picture of the kitchen floor before it was painted. (Leia was kind enough to provide us with a preview of the new floor color by sniffing the paint closely enough to get a bit on her nose.)

And here's the floor painted.

I painted the tile counters too. And Matt painted the walls. I like the kitchen much much more now.

For those who are concerned--I know someone who painted (and sealed) a lino floor in her bathroom over 10 years ago, and it still looks good. What I really want to do is pull up the lino in the kitchen and refinish the fir floors underneath--the paint is a stop-gap for now.

I love the colors. I think we need to mask off big squares on the diagonal and paint them a shade darker before you seal the floor... Note the "we"... Or, maybe we could sew a fake wedding dress...

EWWW - love the wall color and the floor color. I can't see the counter so well - but I see why you love your kitchen much more. If its not sealed when I get there - I will want to do so!!!!!
