All my life I've had bizarre dreams. Here's my most recent--
In my dream I am dead (but walking around like everyone else). There is a crabby old man I've known for a while (only in this dream) who has made me very very angry. I have decided that to retaliate I will scare him (which is very unlike me). In this particular dream, one bonus of being a dead person is having the ability to become invisible at will. To scare the man who has angered me I become invisible and begin nudging the things around him enough to make them move, and I nudge him some too, hard enough that I am sure he can feel it. In the dream it is clear to me that he has noticed the things around him moving for no apparent reason, and can feel me nudging him. When it is clear that he is 100% nonchalant about what I'm doing I become even more angry than before.
Eventually I figure out that he is dead too. He knows exactly what I'm up to, and that's why he's not scared. Once I know he's dead, and he knows I know he's dead, he kind of rolls his eyes at me as if to say "Nudging? That's child's play. I'll show you how to scare someone. " And then he looks me in the eye and starts tearing off pieces of his face and throwing them on the floor as he walks toward me. I know in my dream that it's not really a big deal that he's tearing off his face (since he's dead), and I try really hard to maintain eye contact and not react (because I was trying to scare *him* for crying out loud), but, eww, it's *so* creepy and I just can't hide my reaction. He is clearly pleased that he has creeped me out. I'm very annoyed that I can't hide my reaction, but also also feel like maybe I have some things to learn from him. And then I woke up.
